Ways You Can Support Our Team
The Junior Wolverines organization proudly supports nearly 100 kids each year, through coaching and mentorship, and by fostering positive social interaction with their peers. For many of these kids, the opportunity to play football and cheer is their primary extracurricular, and ultimately shapes the young adult they will become.
It takes a village to make this happen - while a handful of volunteers work steadily each month, we simply cannot do this without additional support from our community.
If you can help in one or more of the following ways we'd greatly greatly appreciate it.
Volunteer
The WJF Board is ALWAYS looking for additional volunteers, whether for current or future seasons. If you are interested to help us manage this organization, we'd love to hear from you and explore the possibilities.
Parent Volunteers are essential and required to assist with pre and post season events, as well as game day coverage. In order to receive $100 refundable fee at end of season, parent/s must volunteer at 4 games. To sign up for volunteer opportunities click here.

Each family is responsible for volunteering at 4 games throughout the season (any family member can volunteer)

SignUp Genius will be available per game for families to determine assignments

Player Sponsorship
The cost of club sports is a large factor for many families, and this certainly is true for the Junior Wolverines as well.
As hard as we work to minimize our operating costs, the truth of the matter is that the per player fees are simply too high for many families.
If you are interested to help cover these costs in any way, the WJF organization has a fund for player sponsorships. Our budget includes a number of need-based scholarships, but unfortunately we can't approve all applications with our budgeted funds.

General Sponsorship
Sponsors help to offset the rising costs of organized sports, including equipment, facility/field space and training. Sponsors help us to remain the most affordable, best-value in team sports and create scholarships so any child interested in joining is welcome.
Currently, the average annual cost to run the WJF organization is approximately $30K.
